Lisa Edelstein is an American actress, best known for her roles in House. Fox medical series, House. She was raised in Wayne where she was a part of a traditional Jewish tradition. As a teenager, 18, she emigrated into New York City to study at Tisch School for the Arts. However, very quickly she was active in the club scene, making enough splashes to get seen by the media and concurrently, becoming conscious of the devastating effects of AIDS. She then used her background and fame and her own experience to create and present a program called Positive Me. The first time she was hired, she got her first position at MTV as the anchor of Awake on The Wild Side shortly after. She began to appear in TV and film productions after the series ended. In the beginning, she appeared as a smaller role.
